Twelve Days of “Christmas 2011 – Day 10 !

We continue our countdown to Christmas!  Our verse for Day 10 goes like this….

On the 10th Day of Christmas, my quilt shop gave to me 10 ruler’s measuring, 9 kitters kitting, 8 yd. of batting, 7 holiday patterns, 6 books a’ read’in, 5 spools of thread… 4 tea towels, 3 fat quarters, 2 Christmas fabrics, and a Janome sewing machine!

That’s right, our special for Day 10 which lands on Sunday, Dec 18 is rulers!  All rulers will be 25% OFF!  This offer is good Sun., Dec. 18 from Noon until 4: 00 pm!

Twelve Days of Quilting 2011 – Day 9 !

Another day has passed in a blur.  Where do they go??  I open my eyes in the morning before it is even light out and by 10 at night I am left trying to figure out just where the day went!  Do you have this problem also???  I have to admit, I did at least relax a little this evening.  Friday night date night with my hubby!  Sometime, the “Date” is really just spending the evening together watching favorite TV shows and eating pizza, or leftovers, but we plan to spend it without other distractions.  Tonight, we watched TV and ate one of my favorite fall meals as leftovers – meatloaf, scalloped potatoes and glazed carrots.  It was yummy!  Comfort food at it’s best!  The White Russians we drank as an after dinner drink went down pretty smooth also!  Especially since the Kaluha in the drink was homemade by my cousin! (If you want to make these at home they are basically equal parts Kaluha, Vodka and cream.) It is really, really, really, really, good!!  If I made any typing or grammar mistakes this evening, blame the White Russians!   

At any rate, we are going on Day 9 of our Twelve days of Quilting event and our verse goes like this…

Twelve Days of Quilting 2011 – Day 7!

Can you believe how time is flying as we countdown to Christmas??  Still so much to do….  If you have a chance, in between all the “stuff” that still needs to get done, stop into the shop for some color therapy, a cuppa’ coffee, and some nice Belgian chocolate cookies!  It will help you relax as you try and pace yourself! 

Here is verse 7 of our Twelve Days of Quilting event….

On the 7th Day of Christmas, my quilt shop gave to me 7 Holiday patterns, 6 book a’ read’in, 5 spools of thread…. 4 tea towels, 3 fat quarters, 2 Christmas fabrics and a Janome Sewing Machine.

Twelve Days of Quilting 2011 – Day 6!

Time sure is fleeting!  I have a million things to do to get ready for Christmas, and time is just racing on by!  How do the elves do it??  I mean really??  I guess there are just alot more of them than lil’ ‘ol me!  I didn’t get anything done on my personal list today.  Maybe tomorrow….

Speaking of tomorrow, our verse for the 6th day goes like this…

On the 6th Day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 6 books a’ read’in, 5 spools of thread…. 4 tea towels, 3 fat quarters, 2 Christmas fabrics, and a Janome sewing machine.

So, our special for the 6th day of quilting is BOOKS!!  All Christmas or holiday books are 25% off.  All books published by “That Patchwork Place” (Martingale) are 25% off.  Only these two catagories of books are on sale – Christmas and Martingale.

Twelve Days of Quilting 2011 – Day 4 and Day 5!

Today was Monday, so I had the day “off” – well that is at least the shop was closed.  We just had Pre-Cuts club meet in the evening, so I was foot-loose and fancy free all day.  HUH!  You think so?  Well not really fancy free.  But I was the Domestic Diva today!  I cleaned house,  washed several loads of clothes and linens, started making a couple batches of peppermint bark (yum!), made a fab comfort dinner for my hubby of meatloaf, scalloped potatoes and glazed carrots, and did a little Christmas shopping!  No wonder I’m tired! 

Since we were closed today, the 4th day of Quilting, we will combine Day 4 and Day 5 for the specials on Tuesday.  Here is our fourth and fifth verses of the Twelve Days of Quilting….
